First entry ever.... What to type? It should be fantastic and captivating!
...not going to happen.
Here we go with random thoughts from the day...
My husband is taking our oldest daughter to see the new Nightmare on Elm Street tonight. He is so excited! She is as well. I love that they have movies and music to bond over.
I had one of those "My Child is so Awesome" moments tonight. Since it was just the two little ones and myself tonight we went shopping and out to dinner. At dinner I looked over and the youngest, age seven, was eating with chopsticks! And not just stabbing the pieces like a one tong fork, but actually pinching the food! I was so proud I looked to see if anyone else was staring in amazement. As weird as it sounds, the only other people around were talking to each other at not looking our way. (Most likely they had noticed already and were discussing in awe at how perfectly she held the chopsticks!)
Oh wait, I had two of those moments today! Yay! My middle daughter is the best dresser. She came out of her room today, dressed cute, as usual, and she had on a dark pink loose knit hat. It looked so perfect on her. A-line haircut, strong bones, pefect nose, cute glasses. I love her!
I got carded today when I bought NyQuil. At first I thought it was because they needed to track who bought it, but no, he wanted to make sure I was over 18. Really? I laughed and said my daughter would be old enough to buy it in soon. He went on about how young I looked, and that I must get carded all the time. Now, I was wearing jeans and a hoodie, no make up, hair down as usual, so I could have looked a few years younger, but not that much. ...Hmm... Maybe it wasn't that I looked that much younger. Maybe, he thought I looked old enough to be flattered that he thought I needed to be carded.
